Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors’ assistant coach Mauricio Taricco has been handed a five-match ban and fined 20 million won by the K‑League disciplinary committee after making what officials called a “slanted‑eye” gesture toward a referee during a recent match. During a K‑League match on November 8, Taricco was sent off after vehemently protesting what he believed was a missed handball call.
