Indian agencies are tightening the noose around gangsters operating from abroad. One of the most wanted names linked to high-profile crimes has finally been brought back to face justice.

On November 19, 2025, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) brought gangster Anmol Bishnoi back to India from the United States and arrested him immediately upon landing. Anmol is the younger brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and has been absconding since 2022. He was declared a wanted accused in several serious cases, including the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique in Mumbai.
According to officials, Anmol was closely associated with terrorist Goldy Brar and was running extortion and threat operations from America. After months of coordination between Indian and US authorities, he was deported. As soon as the flight touched down at Delhi airport, NIA took him into custody.
A special court granted 11 days of police remand for detailed interrogation. Investigators believe his questioning will expose many hidden links in the gangster-terror nexus. This action sends a strong message that no criminal can feel safe hiding overseas. Citizens have welcomed the development, calling it a big win for law enforcement. More arrests are expected as the probe deepens.
